Practice profile
The Veterinary practice at Lingfield Lodge was started in 1982, the present premises having been extended, re-equipped and totally re-furbished in 2008. Situated close to Edenbridge, Dormansland and Lingfield we are easily found on the B2028, just west of Marsh Green. Our large car park is adjacent to the surgery and being down a private drive, is very quiet and safe.
The practice is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and up to date health care service for our client’s pets. We are a 100% small animal practice. The practice has always provided veterinary care for Crayford Greyhounds and we see many greyhounds both racing and retired pets.
Greyhounds
From the beginning in 1982 the practice has held the contract to supply all veterinary services to Crayford Greyhound Stadium. This involves one of the vets attending all races and trails meetings checking the dogs are fit and sound to race and offering first aid when necessary. Over this period we have gained a great deal of experience in dealing with racing injuries- particularly broken hocks. We also treat many retired greyhounds right through to old age.

Environment
We are all nowadays very concerned about the environment, global warming and climate issues. At Lingfield Lodge we have done something about this. Our veterinary clinic is probably the most environmentally friendly practice in England with a negative carbon footprint. The surgery, three houses nearby and our grain drier are all heated by burning big straw bales, grown here on the farm, in a huge boiler housed in one of the barns. In 2011 we installed two 50KW photovoltaic cell units generating a peak output of 100KW. These solar cell panels are situated on two barn roofs. The electricity from these more than supplies our needs with an export of energy to the national grid, enough to power twenty houses.

"I have been a client at Lingfield Lodge for well over a decade now, and have total trust in the care and professional service I get from Martin and his Team. Always a friendly welcome at reception, helpful advice, service and care from the team of nurses and total professionalism from the vets who are easy to talk to and really care about the treatment of my dogs. I wouldn’t trust my team of champion show dogs to anyone else."
